This book opens with a sequence of art, arranged salon-style. I was inspired by a photograph in the book which shows the apartment of a Soviet art collector with art covering the walls from floor to ceiling; also, in many of Ilya Kabakov's installations he papers the walls with collages of posters and other printed material.
